Season 2026/27 plans: PRO-plus, a parents' community and training for the team

25 July 2026

What senior teacher Yuniia Furman is preparing for the new season: a group doing the deepest work, talks for parents, the studio's first commissioned piece for a whole group, and August training for the team on injury prevention.

The studio is planning an ambitious new season. Here is what is coming.

The "PRO-plus" group and a parents' community

Yuniia wants to single out one group for the deepest work — and to work not only with the children but with their parents too. The idea is not parents' meetings "about goals" but a real community: talks about health, meetings with psychologists, simply time spent together. "Parents are an inseparable part of a child's development." The format and the group's name are still being worked out.

A commissioned piece for a whole group — a first

Until now the studio commissioned pieces from outside choreographers for soloists only. This season, for the first time, we are planning a piece for a group — by the same choreographer whose routine took gold at the Dance World Cup. For Yuniia this is new ground: "it's something new".

More guest choreographers

For our soloists we plan to invite new choreographers — names, people "who really do large-scale, brilliant work".

A higher level of competition

Yuniia wants to step up to stronger Ukrainian competitions, and she names World of Dance abroad in particular — stressing that for her it is not a dream but a target: "A dream is something out of reach, and this we are already reaching."

Classical choreography

We want to develop this direction more seriously — the studio is looking for a classical ballet teacher. If that sounds like you, we have an open vacancy.

Training for the team

August will bring training on physical safety and injury prevention — first of all for the acrobatics coaches, and ideally for every teacher. Afterwards the team will write down a single warm-up baseline for the whole studio, so that the approach is the same in every class.

And the main goal stays the same

Asked what would have to happen for her to say "it was all worth it", Yuniia answered that there is no single such event: "These are stages. I don't have one goal." And then: "There is a dream — to win World of Dance in America. But is that victory worth the price — or is being happy here, in the moment, perhaps more important? The goal is to raise healthy, happy, professional children."

Enrolment for the 2026/27 season is already open. If your child already dances — book an audition.
